Started Kit

Started Kit represents the suite from processor and interface modules, the colour LCD panel 320x240 (NEC) with the inverter of backlights(NEC), a set of cables and the external adapter of a main power feed ~220V for hardware and software developers.

Started Kit has a base firmware with a set of demos for testing of network and local interfaces. Connection of the standard PC-keyboard to one of the USB-ports is provided. The graphic mouse manipulator is connected to the other USB-port.

For the monitorng of a loading process of the MIPS-board it is possible to use any terminal program - HyperTerminal (Windows 9x) or Norton Commander (DOS), and connection with a computer can be set up through Ethernet 10/100 or RS-232 interface.

During loading the MIPS-platform releases the full information about program settings and hardware resources. The same parameters are available from any browser on a local network with the help of 192.168.0.56 IP-address fixed in the firmware.

It is possible to use freely distributed compilers – GCC or Green Hills Systems in particular to create user's own programs.. OCD Commander fits as JTAG debugger.
